Cignoli, Marco

Grant Holder

He was born in 1987 in Voghera, Italy. He received the BS degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Pavia in April 2010 with a thesis focused on the study of a new topology of charge pump with improvement in internal impedance and efficiency. In December 2012 he received the Master’s Degree with honors in Electronics Engineering (Integrated Microsystems curriculum) from the University of Pavia, Italy. During his Master’s thesis, he studied and designed driving circuits for optical modulator at 25Gbps in CMOS 65nm technology for SiliconPhotonics applications.

In 2013 he received a grant from the University of Pavia (Dept. of Electronics) to research and develop, in collaboration with STMicroeletronics (Studio di Microelettronica), high-linearity drivers in CMOS 65nm tecnology for optical modulators for M-QAM signals.
