Vahidfar, Mohammad

Ph.D. 2007

Mohammad (Vahid) Vahidfar received his B.S. and M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Sharif University of technology, Tehran, Iran in 2000 and 2002 respectively, and his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from University of Tehran, Iran in 2007. He was with University of Pavia from 2005-2007, working on multi standard RF front end linearization techniques. He enrolled into a postdoc position in University of Pavia in 2008 working on UWB receivers and mmW circuits.

In Jan 2009, He joined SiTune corp., San Jose, CA, working on low power CMOS TV tunes. In 2011, he was with Applied Micro circuits (AMCC), Sunnyvale, CA working on high speed wireline circuits. Since 2013 he is with Qualcomm Atheros, San Jose, CA working on RFIC, analog and mixed signal CMOS design for wireless applications.
