The Cooperation and Development Network of Pavia offers specific training programs in the field of development cooperation since 1997.

Cooperation is not only a vocation, but by all means a profession which requires sound skills and expertise. Individuals working in this sector should demonstrate good ability in decision-making and team-work, and at the same time be able to carry out their work in a creative, independent and flexible manner. National and international NGOs require more and more specialized personnel who can develop and manage complex projects and programs in the headquarters as well as in the field offices.

Acknowledgement of these factors has necessitated the formulation of new directions and curricula. Through our post-graduate courses students have the chance to acquire an excellent theoretical background as well as practical skills, and are offered the possibility to analyze actual case studies by meeting with field experts or by way of a direct experience in a developing country.
