Thank you for your interest in the Ph.D. School of Microelectronics of Pavia University. I hope that this website may brief you and show the care professors and students put into the School.
The School was launched in 2006 and focuses on the branch of Microelectronics that responds to the needs of industry. The career opportunities are excellent both at national and international level: the focus on integrated analog electronics provides students with the abilities required but not commonly found in the labour market.
Our purpose is to train professionals for both Academic and industrial careers. The programme favors the acquisition of know-how and research skills which allow the development of innovative ideas in the field of integrated electronic design. To attain this goal, the planned research activities use modern designing instruments and state-of-the-art technologies.
