About us

The main interest of the laboratory is on neuronal and synaptic properties involved in computation and learning in the cerebellar network. The granule and Golgi cells and their synapses are the central subjects of our investigation. The major research themes concern the cerebellum granular layer.

  • The mechanisms and functional implications of synaptic transmission and plasticity
  • The ionic basis of neuronal coding
  • The spatio-temporal organization of signal processing
  • Cellular neuropathology
