Prof.
Fulvio Marzatico graduated in Biology at the University of Pavia in 1978
and since 1981 has been a researcher at the Pharmacology Institute of Pavia,
now called Department of Physiological and Pharmacological, Cellular and
Molecular Sciences, within the Section of Pharmacology and Pharmacological
Biotechnologies.
In 1989 Prof. Marzatico was awarded a scholarship in the Department
of Neurology and Neurosurgery of the University of California
in San Francisco (UCSF) to study new investigation methods on cerebral
blood flows under different stress conditions.
In 1995 he became a member of the scientific committee and of the governing
board of the Interdisciplinary Centre of Sports Biology and Medicine
of the University of Pavia. He has been a Referee for the International
Application Grant and is a member of the editorial board of the Journal
of Sports Medicine and Physical Fitness.
Prof. Marzatico is currently teaching several courses for the following
degree courses: Biology, Physical Education and Sports Technique, Preventive
and Adapted Movement Education, Sports Sciences and Techniques and Movement
Activities Management at the University of Pavia, where he also runs the
Pharmacobiochemistry Lab.
Prof. Marzatico has published 85 experimental works on scientific journals
with referee and is the author of 55 publications that are part of the proceedings
of national and international congresses.
