GUIDO DONNINI
Stalin, la guerra e i processi politici
N. 153
Summary - The a. taking the cue from various affirmations by men of eastern Europe, politicians and historians, puts to himself some questions and above all he puts them to eastern european historians, on the motives of the political trials that in the years 1949-52 have hit in such a purposeful and terrible way the summit of the Communist parties in power in those countries. The a. recalls what was said in particular by Czechoslovak sources, on the motive that led Stalin to deal those blows and wonders whether the news coming from such sources will be confirmed, disproved or limited by the historians of the other countries, at that time (a time after all not very far away) interested in the political purges.
