PASQUALE SCARAMOZZINO

Il voto di preferenza nelle elezioni regionali

N. 154

Summary — The a. takes into consideration the preferential vote and its degree of utilization in the Italian regional elections. It comes out that the preferential vote is usually utilized, but not excessively and not to the same extent by the electors of the various political parties or the various regions. It appears, moreover, that the electors show a tendency nowadays to make a wider use of the preferential vote than in the past, and more in the regional than in the general elections. The most prominent fact emerging is the remarkable gap between the electors of the North (with the exception of Valle d'Aosta and Trentino Alto Adige) and of the Center on one side, and the electors of the South and the islands on the other side.
