The controversy about the great amount of desputed ballots in the 2006’s general elections in Italy makes in question about corruption at elections or only mistakes in data’s communication or transcription. The political relevance is very hard for the impact of this information on public opinion such as to call for the re-check of votes. The problem is only generated by a mistake. Drawing on data, in effect, it emerges the unrealistic amount of desputed ballots for only 5 provinces in Italy . Therefore, the disaggregation of data for province allows to detect the origin of problem: a trivial transcription mistake and not a corruption at elections
