"Le molte facce del pluralismo. Un approccio procedurale"

The aim of this paper is to draft the main features a theoretical model of procedural justice in conflicts management should mirror in order to effectively handle radical interpersonal value pluralism and the related disagreement on the very basis of life in common. Critically assessing Rawls´s definitions of ( i ) perfect, ( ii ) imperfect and ( iii ) pure procedural justice. I will suggest to add another category to them, i.e. ( iv ) impure procedural justice. Such an impure approach to procedures should be able to combine the context- sensitivity and open-endedness of a pure procedural fashion with a stronger motivational basis and a stable structure obtained through an initial commitment to a foundational procedural value
