Though Mario Albertini´s writings, more or less known, now fully available, the essay deals wtih the development of ideas and thesis, that Albertini went developing particularly in the ´50 of last century. The A. takes into particular account Albertini´s personal engagement in the building of European unity, which he displayed more and more intensively in those years.
