Bearing in mind the current demographic orders according to which in almost all the developed countries there is a demographic stagnation while the developing countries are still in the middle of the demographic transition, the Authors stress the role that can be carried out by the migratory phenomena in mitigating the differences in the growth-rate that are evident when passing from one group of countries to another.
