"Problemática y desarrollo de la historia de lasrelacionesinternacionales en América Latina y en la Argentina"
In recent decades changes have come about the currents of thought of the academic world and the political sphere of Latin America; these changes have emerged together with the economic crises that have devastated the Latin-American countries, and the weak and dependent international standing generated by foreign debt. As regards the first, new ideas and theories about the international relations of the region have emerged, stimulated by the processes of integration under way, and largely critical of the neo-liberalist interpretations that contributed to exacerbating the previous economic crises. At the same time, the governments which came to power in the region decided to break with these neo-liberalist experiences, implementing different economic and social policies. This novelty coincided with the evolution of new ideas, the principal paradigms of which are analysed in this work.
