The article analyzes the
role of Germany in Europe on the basis of
three recent German scientific publications

Humblot, Berlin, 2014). The aim of the article
is to describe how the leadership, firstly,
role of Germany in Europe has changed during
and after the international economic crisis
and, secondly, the development of the german
political culture. The article is divided
into three sections: German mediation, foreign
policy, politics and leadership culture.
