Valerio Re received the "Laurea" degree in Physics (Summa cum Laude) from the University of Milano,
Italy, in 1985. In 1986 he joined the Electronic Instrumentation group at the University of Pavia, where
in 1990 he received the Ph.D. degree in Electronic and Computer Engineering. In 1991 he held a post-doc position
at the Department of Electronics at the University of Pavia, which he joined in 1992 as an Assistant Professor.
In 1998 he joined the Department of Engineering at the University of Bergamo as an Associate Professor of Electronic
Instrumentation and Measurements. His main research interests are in the fields of analog front-end devices and circuits
for radiation detectors, of noise and radiation tolerance of electronic devices and of electronic instrumentation for device
characterization. Since 1986 he is working in several research projects of the Italian Institute of Nuclear Physics (INFN).
He has authored or co-authored more than 80 papers in international journals or conference proceedings.
