The Italian Society for the Connective Tissue (SISC) is a non-profit association.
Founded in 1982, the aims of the society are to promote and support the sudies of connective tissues.
SISC takes care of disseminating information about all the subjects related to the connective tissue, it acts as an authoritative corporation for the consultation of public and professional interest questions.

SICS is actually composed of members whose activities concern disciplines with different methodological and/or application nature mainly in life sciences area.

Congresses, meetings, symposia and SISC scientific activities, among them seminars and courses about subjects of topical interest, are organized by the Council Members.
