There is possibility to organise other oral or poster presentations covering topics and themes such as archaeology, cultural anthropology, demography, etc., depending on the interest for a particular additional theme.

CALL FOR PAPERS AND POSTERS

All interested in participation with oral or poster presentations should contact Congress Office before January 15, 2002 using the Preregistration form. Only those who will send their Preregistration form before January 15, 2002, will be on the mailing list for the Second announcement.

PUBLICATIONS
All the submitted abstracts for the Congress will be published in the journal 
“Collegium Antropologicum” (indexed in Current Contents, Social Sciences Citation Index, Index Medicus, International Current Awareness Services: Anthropology, International Bibliography of Social and Cultural Anthropology, Abstracts in Anthropology, Anthropological Literature, Biological Abstracts, BIOSIS Document Express, Linguistics and Language Behaviour Abstracts, INIST/CNRS, Periodica Islamica, Sociological Abstracts, Science Culture SARL, UnCover, UNESCO DARE Databank).

Abstracts must be submitted for each proposed oral or poster presentation offered. The deadline for the receipt of Abstracts is May 1, 2002.

POSTCONGRESS SYMPOSIUM

Under the title “Current Topics in European Anthropology” will be held in the town of Hvar, island of Hvar, 05 – 08 September, 2002.

The official language of the Congress is English and no translation will be provided. 

The Organising Committee will cover accommodation costs for 30 students and young anthropologists. Young scholars applying for this grant should send their curriculum vitae to the Committee by January 15, 2002.
