Digital Archives of Human Paleobiology

The Digital Archives of Human Paleobiology (DAHP) are a series on CD-ROM intended to facilitate the free circulation for scientific and educational use of qualitatively and quantitatively comprehensive sets of data and images of anthropological, paleobiological, and paleoanthropological interest to specialists, researchers, students, and to institutions such as museums and universities.
The corpus of each DAHP consists of: introductory/explanatory texts; methodological protocols; standardized sets of macro- (including radiographs, CTs, 3D-reconstruction, etc.) and microscopic images; (histo)morphometric analytical databases; digital elaboration; figures (original and elaborated); graphs; tables; and related extended bibliographies.

The DAHP were created at the Section of Anthropology of the NATIONAL PREHISTORIC ETHNOGRAPHIC "L. PIGORINI" MUSEUM, Rome, Italy, within the framework of the ‘Cultural Heritage’ research project (www.culturalheritage.cnr.it), promoted and supported by the Italian NATIONAL RESEARCH COUNCIL, and are distributed for free.
