Specific course objectives
The course of biomedical tecnologies introduces the basic theories in biomedical electronic measurements.
Course programme
Common features of transducers for physical variables. Conditioning networks for transducers. Analog and digital control algorithms. Microprocessor for interfacing to transducers and actuators. Main lines for real time software. In the laboratory the students, operating in small groups, are asked to develop a program for DSP, aimed at the acquisition of the analog signal generated by temperature transducer and to display the temperature value on the seven segments display.
