Specific course objectives
The course covers all the areas of classical physics from Newton’s mechanics to thermodynamics along with an outline of electromagnetics. The aim is firstly to provide the theoretical background about the fundamental principles of physics that are required in the field of architectural engineering. Just in view of technological applications the final goal is to develop the skill of students to deal with easy but real technical problems and to solve them in a strict and quantitative manner.

Written and oral comprehension of italian language. Basic skills of calculus, algebra, analytic geometry and plane trigonometry.
