Course name: Surveying and architectural representation
Course code: 500843
Degree course: Ingegneria Edile-Architettura
Disciplinary field of science: ICAR/17
L'insegnamento costituisce attività di base per: Ingegneria Edile-Architettura
University credits: CFU 9
Course website: http://ingegneria.unipv.it/servizi/scheda.php?mat=02841 9
Specific course objectives
The purpose of this course is to provide the capability to survey buildings with on-site topographical and photogrammetrical methods (analytical and geometric image rectification). These methods allow the students to get a metric description of the surveyed buildings. The topography section contains both theoretical and practical lectures about the most recent technologies and equipment (Total Station).
To support the image rectification a specific software will be available for the students during the lectures time. Most of the course is related to building modeling using the B.I.M. software Autodesk Revit Architecture that can provide a powerful design and illustration tool useful for the following courses that require a project presentation.
