Specific course objectives

The course targets the achitecture of Enterprise Systems (ES). We illustrate the architecture of the ES main kinds and their role in the main indtsries. The course also proposes a method for modeling and implementing Business Intelligence Systems.

Course programme

ES provide enterprises a wide range of suppport: a. Front-end transactions processing (Customer Relationship Management, Portali, Order Management Systems) b. Back-end transactions processing for the enterprise's value and supply chain (ERP - Enterprise Resources Planning, Supply Chain Management Systems) c. Enterprise governance and performance analysis: BI (Business Intelligence) e MIS (Management Information Systems) The course also proposes a series of case studies on projects of front-end, back-end and BI. It is defined and exemplified a technique sthat is specific to BI design and implementation.

• Inplementation alternatives: Classic BI and BIG Data
