Specific course objectives

Course programme

The course's aim to equip students with skills to discourse and solve the typological, distributive and technological subjects that are the basis of architectural design and in particular the design of the building and its adjacent areas.
The focus is mainly on the theme of housing: the distributive characters and dimensional standards are examined for the design of living spaces; the building types are presented and the different morphologies that can be generated are studied.
Equivalent attention is paid to the construction technologies appropriate to meet the requirements of contemporary housing, with a focus on building constructive systems oriented to flexibility and convertibility.
