Specific course objectives

To develop the concepts of risk and safety within structural engineering.

Course programme

Elements of probability theory open the way to the treatment of scenarios. To each of them one has to associate the probability of occurrence. Global risk analysis is also pursued.

Those required to be registered in the Civil Engineering master.
