Lecturer:
Lalo Magni
Course name: Controlli automatici
Course code: 062047
Degree course: Ingegneria Informatica
Disciplinary field of science: ING-INF/04
The course relates to:
University credits: CFU 5
Course website: http://sisdin.unipv.it/lab/didattica/corsi/teorsis_cona ut.htm
Specific course objectives
The aim of the course is to analyze the problem of how to act on the input variables of a plant, appropriately described by a mathematical model to obtain a specific behavior of the process. The main criteria for analysis and synthesis for linear systems with one input and one output are considered. Both stability properties of the controlled system and its ability to mitigate noise and follow the appropriate references will be adressed. At the end of the course the student will be able to formulate and solve a control problem for systems with one input and one output using techniques in the frequency domain.

Testing and exams
Two written tests will be conducted, which will focus respectively on the first and second part of the course. Passing both the written tests equates to passing the exam. Those who have not passed both tests will have a written exam, which will focus on all topics covered during the course.
