Specific course objectives
The main aim of the Course is to study the basic concepts of the numerical methods for PDEs, with a focus on those arising from fluid-dynamics applications.
Course programme
Some or all of the following topics will be studied.
Finite difference methods and finite element methods.
Elliptic problems: the 1D case. Extensions to the multidimensional case.
