Specific course objectives

Course programme

The course deals with essential tools to approach architectural design in terms of composition. Ex catedra lessons and design exercitations are coordinated, and they describe architectural elements of composition and rules of architectural composition. Different approaches and their contextualization are explained within an historical process that brings up to contemporaneity. Typological and morphological features are necessary tools to understand the architectural discipline, together with urban architecture and relationships with context, at different scales of analysis and representation.
