Specific course objectives

Major goals are threefold. To present the main characteristics and potentialities of aerial photogrammetry and aerial lidar, which are the most used methodologies for surveying medium and large scale areas. To make the students expert of two core geographic information data typologies such as DTM and orthophoto. To let the students be able to carry out the main operations with the QGIS open source program.
